Product Overview

FT-50B PDH Optical Terminal is a highly integrated fiber/electrical equipment; it can be configured with 2 hot-plugging optical interfaces, 4E1 and 4 10/100Mbps Ethernet interfaces (optional), and 2 hot-plugging electrical expansion slots.

it can be upgraded into 16E1s.

l           Integrated fiber/electrical equipment, two fiber interfaces support hot backup

l           All functional cards support hot plugging; the functional cards include 2 optical transmission cards, 1 4E1 CARD, 2 access cards. The 4E1 card can be 75Ω or 120Ω. The access cards can be audio interface or data interface or E1 interface. 10/100M Ethernet card can be optional

l           Operating status of local or remote devices can be detected and displayed through NMS

Service Boards

Ø        PWR board: -48V DC or 220V AC is optional, supports dual power supply.

Audio Service Boards:

Ø        Audio interface card: Two-wire interface are FXS, FXO, H (hotline), M (magneto), and two-wire E&M; four-wire interface is 4 wire E&M. The nominal impedance is 600Ω

Ø        Maintenance phone port: Maintenance phone has echo tone, busy tone, and ring signal.

Up-link Boards:

Optical transmission units: 2, mutual backup, hot swap, transmission distance is more than 30KM without repeat.

Data Service Boards:

Ø        E1 interface card: 4 E1s per card, 75Ω or 120Ω can be selected. Q9 with75Ω and RJ45 with 120Ω.

Ø        RS232 data card: contains 2 channels asynchronous RS232 data interface, conforms to ITU-T V.24/V.28 standard.

Ø        RS485 data card: contains 2 channels asynchronous RS485 data interfaces, they are full duplex and four wire mode interfaces.

Ø        N×64Kbps FV.35 card: contains 1~4 channel synchronous V.35 data of N×64Kbps data rate, N is from 1 to 30.

Ø        10/100M Ethernet data interface card: providing 4 channel 10/100 Base-T Ethernet bridge, support VLAN.

Remark: Power board and uplink board are essential, other audio and data service board is optional. FT-50B may be configured as 4 or 8 E1s, 4 ports of 10/100M Ethernet, 4 or 8 channels of voice signal, 2 channels of RS232 asynchronous data, 1 to 4 channels of V.35 synchronous data, 2 net management ports, and 1 maintenance phone port.
